Do I have to attend a PTA meeting?
When you become a member of the NMW PTA you are not required to attend a single meeting. But by attending meetings, you will get current information on what the PTA is doing to make an impact on your child's education, and you will get current updates from the Principal. You will also be able to participate in discussions and have a vote on important issues. Won't you join us? Look for announcemnts via Find-Out-First on meeting dates and times.
Do I have to volunteer?
You are not required to volunteer when you become a member of the NMW PTA. But when you do, it will be the best decision you have ever made. When you volunteer your precious time, you are making a difference. Whether you volunteer in the class, for a field trip, or donate items you are affecting the students and staff in a positive way.
